I believe that the benefits outlined in this article are very important things that can help anyone become a better leader. Learning more about social issues and their causes and developing critical thinking and problem solving skills were what stood out to me the most because developing those skills can improve your leadership qualities and help you to become a better person overall.

I totally agree! I also liked that their was an emphasis on how improving yourself, your abilities, and your social awareness also made you a better leader. I feel like sometimes we feel that leadership is based on how you affect other people, which, even though that is important, what is equally as important is looking to keep yourself well-rounded as well!
