I think the author was spot on with all of these traits. I think that to be a successful leader you do need a combination of al of these traits. Not all of them you might need a lot of in your leadership position but I think if you have a lot of one trait like communication but then a little bit of another like financial you can still be an effective leader. How much of you need on each trait will depend on your career and leadership position. But I believe they are all important

I definitely agree. Initially, I had a hard time agreeing that you needed all of these characteristics in order to be a beneficial leader, however, I do think that accepting your abilities and perhaps even outsourcing in areas you recognize as a weakness will make you more capable leader, who will definitely find success!
