Developing Personal Accountablity Original post: Sat 10/22/2016 at 10:45 PM

I think it would do everyone some good to look at the three tips for being accountable, because I really don't think there is any person on this earth who always takes responsibility for their actions. It is human nature to make excuses when things go wrong. No one really wants to take the blame. Although, in most cases blame is usually shared. I think the most important thing is for people to realize that nobody is perfect and that when there is conflict there is often more than one person accountable. For example, the author of the article is quick to blame the client for gaining weight. I do believe the client should be accountable about her part in the weight gain, I feel as though the author is quick to blame the failure purely on the client. Instead, the author should've "looked at herself FIRST" and realized that she may be partly accountable as well.

Oops.. I meant to put the first submission under "Have you been accountable?"

Here is my reflection of "Developing Personal Accountability":

Personal accountability begins with taking responsibility for your own actions but it does not necessarily end there. You also must be accountable for anything you are involved in, even if you may not have messed up your part. For instance, when teachers assign group projects they often give the same grade to everyone in the group. This means that if on of your group members doesn't do their part, you and the other members of the group have to be accountable in getting that part o the project done.
