Have You Been Accountable? Original post: Sun 10/23/2016 at 8:48 PM

I believe this article makes great sense in explaining how you must question yourself on your own accountability.  I especially liked the parts about policing yourself and looking at yourself first.  By playing football, I have witnessed many of times of teammates not taking accountability for themselves.  For example, the d-line blaming the defensive backs on getting beat on a long pass.  Maybe if the pass rush would have been more effective, the quarterback and receivers wouldn't have had that time to connect.  You must look at yourself and ask:  How can I improve to make the problem better?  Do not point the finger at someone else.

i think that a lot of athletes deal with these issues. Instead of point fingers at teammates it better to look at yourself and analyze the situation. it is better to see what you yourself can do to fix the problem.

I also completely agree with you. I think that you see this a lot more in sports than in everyday life and especially when playing in a team it is extremely important to be held accountable and take responsibility for your actions.

I'm glad to know that you "Do not point the finger at someone else." I think you are very proactive with you question asking. We should all strive to think about accountability from a positive standpoint. I believe that this will make accountability more attainable.
