I love this quote from the article, “accountability is not just a mindset but a skill set that everyone can learn and should master.” Today’s society is so quick to pass the buck, but this quote points out that everyone can learn and master accountability. The article stresses on policing oneself, to look to oneself first, before looking to blame anyone else, think about your actions, and how those actions have led to these consequences. Telling the truth has become so overacted, everything is over embellished anymore, people and companies commit crimes like it’s nothing to worry about. Their actions made them money, so what does it matter? Let’s just blame it on other people or the employees that work for us. Accountability is vital to maturity, and personal growth.

That is a great quote, "accountability is not just a mindset but a skill set that everyone can learn and should master." If everyone would live out their lives this way there would be less turmoil and hardship in life. I see too that telling the truth sometimes can be easily passed up and much easier to fib. This needs to be established and understood at an early age in life to establish maturity and personal growth.
