From Hero to Host Original post: Sun 11/6/2016 at 7:58 PM

This article explains the difference from hero-leaders and host-leaders.  I liked the part where it talks about the traits of leaders-as-hosts because it is relatable.  It lists off information such as providing time, reflecting back on others to see how they're doing and if they've journeyed toward accomplishment, and providing conditions for people together.

I like how you listed off some of the qualities that leaders as hosts possess. The three that you listed all seem to have to encourage a continual relationship with your followers. I have always viewed heroes as the type to swoop in, save the day, and then vanish. It seems like the difference between leaders as heroes versus leaders as hosts is that host have an on-going interest in the person their helping.
