Hero to host Original post: Sun 11/6/2016 at 11:19 PM

I feel like the author is saying to completely get rid of the hero comes down to a matter of opinion. the idea of the host makes sense if that's what the community wants but what if the community does want that one person to control everything and make the decisions for them?

it's all pretty confusing to me, right now. Maybe I just didn't read the article thoroughly enough, but it seems like hosts and heroes are both forms of leaders, but hosts are more like those who scaffold, where heroes are those who take full action and independence on the matter. So, for sake of our class discussion, I'd say that it is probably better to be a host rather than a hero. That seems to be more of what a leader is--someone who is leading--rather than someone who just dictates the situation.
