This article is really interesting to me because it defines an accountability partner and sets it aside from being motherly, friendly or counselor-like. It seems to me that it is easier to be a friend than it is to be an accountability partner. Personally, I'm the kind of person to show empathy or give advice. I would like to think that if someone wanted to confide in me that I could help them. It is harder though to take it a step further and try not to fix them or find a solution, but instead challenge them to be accountable for their own goals.
