I think its interesting that this article focused more on skills, then the work that is done in ones major, because it is true, employers are starting to care more about our skills, then our education. The right skills that the author addresses are all critical thinking and problem solving, which is very important in the work force.

While I do think it is important to have proper social and professional skills, I think this article is underestimating the the need for knowledge of your chosen career. A person could have the best people skills out there and have an outstanding interview, but if they are applying to be a doctor with a degree in education, it's just not gonna happen. In the end, you need a degree and social skills to get most jobs.
