Helpful Hints for Effective Peer Reviewing Original post: Sun 10/30/2016 at 9:10 PM

Peer Reviewing is a great tool in assisting writers and their documents.  It is very important to keep the peer reviewing positive.  If too much negative feedback is given, the writer could lose confidence and lose hope in their paper.  Instead of just writing what is flawed in the paper, you should explain what they should do to improve in a positive manner.  This will give the writer confidence to improve their paper.

It is easy to get lost in negative feedback and not know where to go or how to move forward in a paper. I think providing positive feedback can give someone that next step that will help them to make changes to have an improved and more effective paper.
