I agree with the way that Webster defined accountability with the connection to a responsibility. When you are accountable for something then you are also responsible for it as well. Being held accountable for something can be difficult at times, the part of the article that it tells you to get a partner to help hold you accountable was a very good idea. Especially when they pointed out that you need to get someone that wont baby you but will actually push you to get what you need done. I think an accountable "partner" would be a coach because they are definitely going to make sure you are held responsible for your actions.
