I think that the last skill in this article "Helps People Grow and Develop Their Skills" really goes with some of our in class discussion days. Your primary focus as a leader should be those that you are leading. Having concern for others weather you are a student, faculty member, employee or employer, will help you also grow as a person.

I agree, that should be one of the strongest traits of a leader. A leader should always make an impact on the people they work with because you can't really be considered a leader unless other people see you as one. As a leader you should always make sure you're helping others grow along with the group.

It is kind of interesting though because while you have a great influence on others and can help them grow, it really affects you as well. We learn from each other. You learn along the way how to be a better leader, how you can help others better. Everyone is different and different styles of leading may work better for them.
