It was very encouraging to learn that most jobs are looking for more than just a degree and that many times there is too much emphasis on a piece of paper. Having a broad range of skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, and a combination of written and oral skills are essential to the work place. It was also interesting to learn that employers endorse a blended model of liberal and applied learning.

I agree. There is so much more that goes into a persons success other than what their GPA is. Everyone has different strengths that are beneficial to them and what they want to do in life.

I agree with you because some just do not do well in school. They should not be counted on how their grades were in school, but some places that is what it comes to. I believe for how much you know about the career and how much you care about it is what is important or not.
