8 Traits. Original post: Sun 11/6/2016 at 10:29 PM

Similar to the first article, this one lists several traits of a successful leader. Unsimilar to the first article, this one does not focus on servant leadership. It focuses more on successful leadership qualities, especially in the business world. All the traits are pretty typical of a leader, but I felt like 'Understands the financial aspects of business' and 'can create a positive work environment' are more directed to the business aspect of leadership. Everything else, in its own way, does, specifically, but Can definitely be applicable to other leadership situations/opportunities.

All of these characteristics are very important in a leader, but as I've worked in the workforce, and the characteristics that need to be worked on the most in my organization would be leads by example and can create a positive work environment. At my work our leaders fail to lead by example, because its more of a do as I say not as I do, sort of attitude, which brings morale for the workers down. Our leaders also have a tendency to make the environment more toxic, then creating a positive work environment.
