Hero to Host Original post: Sun 11/6/2016 at 10:10 PM

This was in interesting take on the whole leadership subject. Being a hero vs. being a host. Why can't we be one, and/or why do we expect one? "Leaders have the answers...high risk requires high control." Also what's the difference between a host and a hero? Or is this article claiming both are types of leaders..? (do these get read...) Anyway, I like and agree with the idea that the general public is helpless and that we constantly rely on the doer to do the tasks. It's pretty true that not too many take initiative, especially when it matters, and that the general public are more of followers, than the leaders they really think they are, not to be negative.

I think we all want that one amazing person, to take up our responsibilities, and sweep our problems away, but I think its important that we are our own heroes and that we take responsibility for ourselves, and work together with others to come up with viable solutions to our problems. Heroes are important, but these two different types of heroes gives a look into different ways of leading.
