This article has good information on the other things that employers are looking for besides just a degree. A few of those things are a variety of types of knowledge and skills, field specific knowledge and skills and a broad range of skills and knowledge, and they are interested in e-portfolios and partnerships with colleges to ensure a successful transition to the workplace.

I also liked reading up on the information the website provided. I think seeing the skills and knowledge qualities or strengths listed in order to be highly qualified for the profession would help a student determine if the position or career would be a good fit for them or not. I would also recommend to any student to view this article early on in their college experience so that they can have a solid determinant in what they want to be when they graduate and not have to change their mind so many different times.
