I completely agree that proper goal setting is a strong tool in relation to accountability.  By creating a set goal, you are able to plan the steps to achieve that specific goal.  By creating these steps within your plan, it causes you to become responsible for staying true to your path of achievement as well as causing you to be self-accountable.  Also, I believe having that certain someone who acts as an accountability partner is essential in helping you stay on the right track in achieving your goals; it is much easier than doing it alone.

I agree that proper goal setting is a big factor in accountability. Because if you don't set attainable goals then you will not be able to be very accountable.

I agree with you that by setting a goal you are able to plan steps to achieve your goal and makes you stay on track with your goal. I also completely agree that having a certain someone there keeping you on track helps you a lot.
