Description
This applied logic course seeks to sharpen the critical thinking and writing skills of the student through an examination of the principles of valid inference in standard syllogistic logic and predicate logic. Considerable attention will be given to identifying informal fallacies, and evaluating the consistency and force of everyday arguments.
